NGS Coordinate Conversion and Transformation Tool (NCAT) allows users to easily convert between different coordinate systems and/or transform between different datums, in a single step.

For coordinate conversion, NCAT allows conversion between latitude/longitude/ellipsoid height, SPC, UTM, XYZ, and USNG systems.
NCAT uses NADCON or 14-parameter Helmert Transformations to perform three-dimensional (latitude, longitude, and ellipsoid height or XYZ) coordinate transformations and VERTCON to perform orthometric height transformations. Transformations are provided for a wide range of datums and regions in the National Spatial Reference System. NADCON and VERTCON provide error estimates for each transformation. NCAT allows changing the epoch of coordinates through the IFDM2022 model.
NCAT supports three types of State Plane Coordinate (SPC) systems: SPCS2022, SPC83, and SPC27. SPCS2022 applies only to the new reference frames N/P/C/MATRF2022, while SPC83 and SPC27 apply only to NADCON regions. NCAT supports transformations between these coordinate systems through a hybrid transformation between a new reference frame and a NADCON datum.
Please note that, only orthometric-to-orthometric and ellipsoidal-to-ellipsoidal height transformations are possible in NCAT. However, a transformed height may optionally be converted to the other type of height.
NCAT incorporates the capabilities of the following NGS computer programs, which originally were stand-alone products:
