STEP 3 (OP5): Setting Up Project Preferences for Uploaded Vectors

  1. Go to the homepage for OPUS-Projects 5 at the following URL: https://beta.ngs.noaa.gov/OPUS-Projects/OpusProjects.shtml

  2. Login by entering the Project ID and Manager Keyword for your project.

  3. The first main screen for your project is known as the “Manager’s page”. Press the “Preferences” button to enable changing project settings.

  4. A new window will appear with 5 tabs across the top where settings can be customized for your project.

  5. Click on the “Data & Solution Quality Thresholds” tab to allow changing data quality thresholds. If any uploaded data exceeds the given thresholds, then OPUS-Projects will flag it. In the example below, we have changed the “minimum duration” and “epochs used” for a given GNSS vector to 300 s (5 min.). That means, any vectors based on observations less than these thresholds will be flagged. We also changed the “maximum height uncertainty” to 0.050 m, and the maximum latitude and longitude uncertainties to 0.030 m. Repeat vectors (measurements) of the same baseline exceeding these values will be flagged.

  6. Once satisfied with the settings, click on the blue button at the top of the form “Save Changes and Close”.
